I’ve been learning a lot about Heart Rate Variability , and the power of the heart-brain connection.
For instance, did you know that the heart actually sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart? So by focusing on our heart, we can influence our brain and how it functions.
By synchronising our heart, brain and autonomic nervous system, we can be more calm, more alert, more focused and more peaceful, while being less reactive and less anxious.
Being in a state of coherence helps our brain and body function at an optimal level, where we can think and perform at our best. It’s not the same thing as being relaxed – it’s more like being in the zone. Your feel better and perform better.
If we can learn to generate heart rhythm coherence, we can profoundly affect how we perceive, think , feel and perform.
So how do we create a state of coherence, and how do we know when we are in a coherent zone?
