‘If in doubt, breathe out.’ These wise words from Dr. Sven Hansen at the Resilience Institute have stuck with me for the last few years, ever since he trained me as a resilience coach.

They serve as a simple yet powerful reminder of the importance of staying calm and displaying effective leadership under pressure. In the business world, where high-stakes decisions are a daily occurrence, the ability to maintain composure and lead effectively under stress isn’t just beneficial—it’s essential.
